Why Credentials Matter

Credentialing is the process of assessing and validating a HIM practitioner’s qualifications for a certain job or for performing a specific task.   By attaining your professional credential, you are demonstrating your commitment to your profession and proving your capabilities and competence.

At Libman Education, we believe healthcare credentials are important for the health professional and for the healthcare organization that employs them. We currently offer two certification exam prep courses to prepare students for the essential and challenging AHIMA credential exams:

The  Libman Education CCA Exam Prep course is an online, 8-week course designed to prepare students for the CCA Certification Exam offered by the American Health Information Management Association.

The Libman Education CCS Exam Prep course, offered online or in person, is an intensive 13-week course to prepare students for the AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist exam.

The CCS Mock Exam with Personal Coaching Session tests your acute hospital coding skills with a proprietary practice exam that closely resembles the actual CCS exam, followed by a one-on-one consultation with renowned CCS instructor Mary Beth York.
